Highlights and Experiences
Experience the indigenous Karan culture and immerse in their lifestyle by exploring Karan cuisine staying in their community run Homestay, learning and giving your hands on experience by taking part in their bamboo handcrafts and weaving with local artisans, also learn to cook Karan iconic dishes and giving your mind some space to roam around in some of the remote areas of the island. This place is also best for birdwatching and stargazing.




Get to learn more about the island ecosystem delving into unique endemic species of birds, reptiles and jumping into marine species from exploring the common fish id’s and interesting invertebrates to the introduction and importance of coral reef ecology all through different interesting workshops, presentations, land based and water based activities. Also explore some land based activities in the island like intertidal walk, forest bathing, hiking to secret beaches and waterfalls, kayaking and much more.
